Download of the Day: Sizer
Mar 3

A small little application that allows you to resize any window to a certain resolution even custom ones. Really nice feature to have when designing websites to see how page looks on a smaller screen and useful if you wanna play a game like minecraft in windowed mode at 720p for example.

Blu-ray software breakdown
Jan 24

Where to start? Well lets say it's one of the most annoying pieces of software to work with I'd advise staying away from PowerDVD total money grab and only allows so many reinstalls before requiring you to buy a new serial... and has various issues with other drivers that make it error out. WinDVD I've tried, but not fan of its looks really and had I random issues with it not able to play blu-rays though some people really like it. I'm trying a 15 day trail of this "TotalMedia Theatre 5" really loving it specially in window mode its UI will auto hide itself same with fullscreen.

Note to all you people with AMD cards your gonna wanna go to CCC and change your (Video > Video Settings) and move all the sliders to off to get the correct raw image picture without software "enhancing" it (imo making it look over saturated and incorrect to orginal recorded look) if you like using software enhancements by all means use them, but I prefer raw.

I'll write up more about WinDVD when I try it again. Basically made the article to say stay away from PowerDVD.
